Solar Panels in
Shadnagar
Shadnagar is home to Solar Cubic's flagship 1MW ground-mounted solar park — the largest project in our portfolio. With vast land parcels, SEZ industrial zones, and Pharma City proximity, Shadnagar is ideal for MW-scale ground-mount and large industrial rooftop solar.
Flagship Project
Solar Cubic's 1MW Ground-Mounted Solar Park, Shadnagar
Shadnagar is where Solar Cubic executed its largest installed project to date — a 1 Megawatt ground-mounted solar park supplying captive power to an industrial facility. The plant spans approximately 4 acres and generates an estimated 14–16 lakh units of clean electricity annually.
The project includes ground civil foundations, galvanised mounting structures at optimum tilt (11° for Shadnagar's latitude), 3,000+ solar panels, DC cabling, a centralised inverter room, and grid synchronisation with TSSPDCL South Division — all under Solar Cubic's end-to-end EPC scope.
Shadnagar's expanding industrial base — with Hyderabad Pharma City being Asia's largest planned pharma cluster — means more large-scale solar demand is coming. Solar Cubic is positioned to serve utility-scale, captive, and open-access renewable projects in this corridor.

Ground-Mount Solar vs Industrial Rooftop — Which Is Right for You?
Ground-Mounted Solar
- Ideal for 500kW–10MW+ capacity
- Optimal tilt angle — no rooftop constraints
- Lower installation cost per watt at scale
- Easier maintenance and cleaning access
- Qualifies for open access / captive power
- Requires dedicated land (4 acres per MW)
Industrial Rooftop Solar
- No additional land required
- 40% accelerated depreciation (IT Act Sec 32)
- 100kW–2MW capacity common for factories
- TSSPDCL net metering for surplus export
- Reduces demand charge + energy charges
- Roof structural assessment required

Common Questions
Solar FAQs for Shadnagar
Yes. Solar Cubic's largest installed project is a 1MW ground-mounted solar park in Shadnagar — our flagship reference project. The plant generates approximately 14–16 lakh units of clean electricity per year and serves as a full captive power plant for an industrial facility in the area.
A 1MW ground-mounted system in Hyderabad or the Shadnagar corridor costs approximately ₹3.5–5 crore depending on land preparation, structural type (fixed tilt vs tracker), module tier, transformer specs, and grid interconnection. Solar Cubic handles the complete EPC scope — from land levelling and civil foundations to SLDC approvals and commissioning.
For projects above 500kW, ground-mount offers key advantages: no structural loading restrictions, optimal tilt angle (10–12° for Hyderabad's latitude), easier maintenance, and lower balance-of-system cost per watt at scale. Ground-mount is ideal for captive power plants, open access RE projects, and industrial facilities with adjacent land parcels.
Yes. Pharma City and other industrial plots near Shadnagar have large factory buildings with flat rooftops — ideal for 500kW–2MW rooftop installations. Combined with ground-mount on adjacent land, solar can supply 50–80% of total electricity demand. The 40% accelerated depreciation benefit under the IT Act Section 32 significantly improves Year 1 cash flow for corporate manufacturers.
Yes. Shadnagar's residential layouts along the Hyderabad-Bangalore NH44 corridor can access rooftop solar with PM Surya Ghar Yojana subsidy up to ₹78,000. Solar Cubic handles the complete installation and TSSPDCL South Division net metering registration. Call +91 965 200 6000 for a free site visit.
